Refund Policy

We make every piece carefully and we want you to feel the same way receiving it. If a Saint Polaire item is not what you hoped for, we will gladly accept a return or arrange an exchange under the conditions set out below.

1. Window for returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery, as confirmed by the carrier's tracking. Items received after this period cannot be refunded but may be considered for exchange or store credit at our discretion.

2. Condition of returned items

Returned items must be in original, unworn condition, with all original tags, hangers and packaging intact. We are unable to accept items that show signs of wear, washing, alteration, perfume or animal hair.

  • Items must not have been worn outside of trying on.
  • Original tags must be attached.
  • Original packaging must be returned with the item.
  • Knitwear and scarves must be free from pilling, snags and odours.

3. How to start a return

To begin a return or exchange, write to hello@saintpolaire.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. We will respond within two working days with return instructions and the appropriate return address for your region.

Please do not send items back without first receiving return instructions, as we may be unable to track or refund unannounced returns.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within 10 working days. The refund covers the price of the item itself; original shipping charges are non-refundable except in the case of a faulty item or a shipping error on our part.

Refunds are processed by Stripe. Depending on your bank, funds typically appear in your account within 3–5 business days of being issued.

5. Return shipping

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, with the following exceptions:

  • The item received was faulty, damaged or incorrect.
  • The order was shipped to the wrong address through an error on our part.

We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service for returns. We are unable to process returns for parcels lost in transit.

6. Exchanges

To exchange a piece for a different size, please follow the standard return procedure and place a new order for the correct size. This is the fastest way for you to receive the size you want, as our pieces are produced in small quantities and can sell out between transactions.

7. Faulty items

Every Saint Polaire item is inspected before dispatch. If you believe an item is faulty, write to hello@saintpolaire.com with your order number and a clear photograph of the issue within 14 days of receipt. We will respond promptly and arrange a complimentary return, repair or replacement as appropriate.

8. Final-sale items

From time to time we may mark certain pieces as final-sale (for example, archive pieces or sample-sale items). These will be clearly identified at the time of purchase and are not eligible for return or exchange except in the case of a faulty item.

9. Statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and French law. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable consumer law.
